This is an oversized item. For the 8' ladder, an additional $125.00 per item will be calculated in shipping charges at checkout. For the 9' ladder, an additional $200.00 per kit will be calculated in shipping charges at checkout. For the 10' ladder, an additional $250.00 per item will be calculated in shipping charges at checkout.

Putnam 20 Inch Wooden Library Ladder is for use with rail system and is the wooden ladder only. These ladders are shipped unassembled and do not include the step trusses. Putnam Rolling Ladders are used for home libraries, lofts, stock rooms, kitchens, wine cellars, and closets. Choice of 8, 9 or 10 foot lengths in eight wood species.

Step trusses are sold separately

Wood: Choose from Unfinished Maple, Unfinished Red Oak, Unfinished Walnut, Unfinished White Oak, Prefinished Maple, Prefinished Red Oak, Prefinished Maple, or Prefinished White Oak.

Assembly screws are NOT included. They come with the rung supports in the hardware kits.

Leave at least 7" of clearance above the center of the rail to ensure the ladder can be stowed vertically, or removed if using a Hook application.

Leave at least 3" of clearance above the center of the rail to ensure the ladder is not blocking any cabinet doors or hitting any other protrusions.
